Taj Mahal — means Crown of Palace. It is white marble mausoleum, located on the right bank of the Yamuna river in Agra. it was built by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in 1632–1653 for his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. Mumtaj Mahal died in 1631, while giving birth to 14th child. Later Mughal emperor Shah Jahan also buried in Taj Mahal.
Around 17 hectare area complex, in the Taj Mahal complex Friday Masjid (mosque), Guest house & Gardens. Taj Mahal main mausoleum construction finished in 1643, but construction continue for other part of complex, such as Gates, boundary wall & Garden, it all took more 10 years. Around 20000 workers work to built Taj Mahal under Ustad Ahmed Lahauri. Taj Mahal was named a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1983. It is best example of Mughal Architecture. Taj Mahal total Height is 73 m.
